Torsten J. Koerting is a project manager, strategic thinker, visionary and management consultant to the very fingertips — but also a paragliding, trail running and outdoor enthusiast. For more than 25 years he has lived and breathed project management, has specialized in complex IT projects and brings troubled projects back on track to success. He is a renowned pioneer and lectures in front of MBA classes at various international universities. Moreover, he is committed as a speaker at many conferences and has written several specialist and non-fiction books and is the initiator of www.PM-Powerdays.com. Basically, he sees himself as a “host” — as someone who creates spaces and an environment to enable all participants to act effectively, goal-oriented and sustainably. He is passionate about helping people living their true vocation. Furthermore, he supports them in achieving the goals and results that are relevant to them and in taking them to the next level, both professionally and privately.
Torsten has crossed the Alps several times, he is a certified mountain hiking guide, a passionate ultra runner and has finished one of the toughest multi-day self-supported ultra runs, the Grand 2 Grand Ultra (273 km, 7 days, 6 stages, from the North Rim of the grand Canyon to Bryce Canyon), within the first third. He has run numerous marathons and has gone through many triathlons.
